https://www.chat-quiberon.com/2024/01/18/hiy66f2hp Have you had pickle thoughts, or looked at someone with a sour face and thought he must have been weaned on a pickle, or ever thought pickles are cucumbers that sold out because they were tired of laying around with nothing else to do. Or, if you are like me, I want to find some other things to pickle than that long green cucumber that makes the most yummy cucumber spread for sandwiches. Why ruin it pickling it.
https://equinlab.com/2024/01/18/wxz7qyf Over the years I have pickled okra, yellow squash, beets, cucumbers, pickled vegetables and even slaw but I have never pickled a shrimp before so I’m really hoping this is going to become a favorite — a little recipe you can throw together in the morning, put it in some cute jars, buy some fancy crackers and pack it up and take it to a party and sit back and watch everyone enjoy themselves.
https://www.justoffbase.co.uk/uncategorized/obqzaeh0 We we out on the lake recently with some friends who have a pontoon boat. We always go out around 5:00 in the evening, find a little cove, throw out some noodles and get in the water and float for an hour or so all the time sipping on some wine or beer. We all always bring food to eat and my husband had made a smoked brisket and we had a wonderful corn dish and some yummy ramen slaw. I had made this jar of shrimp early in the day and we pulled it out for a nice little appetizer to snack on while Hub sliced up the brisket. It was great.
Buy Alprazolam Powder When I got home I had some remaining shrimp and oil mixture so I decided to add some lemon zest and lemon juice to it and I also added a couple more teaspoons of tarragon vinegar. (I changed the below recipe to add these items.)

Pickled Shrimp in a Jar
- 2 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 2 lb. medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 onion cut in thin strips
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. allspice berries
- 1 tsp. fennel
- 1 tsp. coriander seed
- 6 fresh bay leaves or dried
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1-2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cup olive oil
- zest and juice of one lemon or more to taste
- 6 Tbsp. tarragon vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/2 c. parsley finely chopped
Bring the old bay seasoning and 8 cups of water to a boil and add the shrimp. Reduce heat to low and cook until shrimp are pink. This will take about 2-3 minutes. Transfer shrimp to bowl of ice water to chill and then drain and refrigerate. Peel and devein.
Grind the celery seed, mustard seed, allspice berries, fennel seed and coriander seed with either a spice grinder or mortar and pestle. Put this mixture in a bowl and add the oil, vinegar, and parsley, salt, crushed red pepper, and garlic.
In glass canning jars (either a one quart jar or two smaller ones), layer the shrimp and onions and bay leaves (I stick the bay leaves down the sides of the jar. Pour the oil mixture over and cover with lid; chill overnight before serving.
Serve either in a large bowl with crackers or you can put the shrimp and a little onion on a cracker and have it ready for your guests. I like serving mine from the jar with a fondue fork.
