I&#8217;ve seen several sweet chili sauce recipes and after looking at the ingredients on my favorite brand, I decided to make my own.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve used this on my egg rolls, dumplings, I&#8217;ve added ketchup to it for a cocktail sauce for shrimp, I&#8217;ve brushed it on my husband&#8217;s grilled chicken wings and the good thing is I can make it whenever I need it since I always have the ingredients in my pantry.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/rosemaryandthegoat.com\/2014\/01\/14\/brussels-sprout-salad\/\">Brussels Sprout Salad<\/a> a few years ago where I used my store bought Thai Sweet Chili Sauce and added a few other ingredients to it to make a dressing for the salad. You can use this recipe for Thai Sweet Chili Sauce as is for the dressing for that salad or use as I suggested above. You can take this sauce and simply add some oil and a little more vinegar to it and have a great Asian salad dressing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>BLAST FROM THE PAST<\/strong><\/span>: <a href=\"http:\/\/rosemaryandthegoat.com\/2015\/09\/01\/butterflies-with-chicken-asparagus-and-snow-peas\/\">Butterflies with Chicken, Asparagus and Snap Peas<\/a> would be a small saucepan and bring to a simmer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21607\" yumprintitem=\"3\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tsp. soy sauce or tamari<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"4\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 clove garlic, minced<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"5\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"6\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tsp. salt<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"7\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/2 - 1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"8\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1\/4 tsp. paprika<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-ingredient-item\" yumprintitem=\"9\" itemprop=\"ingredients\">1 tsp. cornstarch or arrowroot. with 1 Tbsp. water<\/li>\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-method-section\" yumprintsection=\"1\">\t\t\t<div class=\"blog-yumprint-subheader\">Instructions<\/div>\t\t\t<ol class=\"blog-yumprint-methods\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"0\">Put the water, vinegar, soy sauce (or Tamari), ginger, garlic, salt, crushed red pepper and paprika into small saucepan. Bring it almost to a boil then add in the sugar (or artificial sweetener) and stir until sugar has dissolved.<\/li>\t\t\t\t<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">Mix 1 teaspoon with 1 tablespoon of water until it has dissolved.
