I had this salad ready to post but had not written anything about it. We had an earlier than I thought trip to Austin to welcome our new grandson (#6). Our daughter was in labor all of about 30 minutes before delivering little Frankie. He&#8217;s just the cutest thing.<\/p>\n<p>Then we had a trip to Missouri to check on my mother-in-law and spent a week there, all the time I never looked back at my post to see what was coming up.<\/p>\n<p>So, here&#8217;s my newest salad using my spiralizer. I kind of put the device back in my closet and forgot about it until one weekend we had friends over and I thought how good a refreshing salad would be made with cucumbers and zucchini.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Let me know how you like it by leaving a comment in the &#8220;comment&#8221; section below. It was great with some bar-b-q that my husband made for the night.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>BLAST FROM THE PAST:<\/strong><\/span> This <a href=\"http:\/\/rosemaryandthegoat.com\/2010\/12\/01\/bar-b-q-shrimp\/\">Bar-B-Q Shrimp <\/a>is so delicious and you really want to buy &#8220;heads on&#8221; shrimp. If you can&#8217;t find it then at least buy shrimp with the shells on. The liquid part of this appetizer or entree is great sopped up with some good French bread.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20741\" src=\"http:\/\/rosemaryandthegoat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_2219-e1487368633439.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2219\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Use your spiralizer* and make zucchini and cucumber noodles.
