Fried Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs boiled
  • mayonnaise
  • mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • pickle relish optional
  • any other things you may add to your deviled eggs.
  • self rising flour
  • 1 egg beaten (or buttermilk)
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  1. I'm not giving you amounts on the ingredients of the eggs, just fill them as you normally do with your favorite recipe. The ingredients above is how I normally make them and I never measure amounts. Just do not make them too mushy.
  2. Boil your eggs and make your deviled eggs however you like them.  Don't stuff them too full. After filling your eggs, dip egg in flour on all sides, then quickly dip in beaten egg (I used buttermilk) then flour again. Put them on a tray and have ready for frying.
  3. Heat oil to 350°. Fry your eggs 3-4 at a time until golden brown then drain on cooling rack with paper towel underneath to catch oil. Serve immediately

  5. Try breading only the whites and frying and then after fried, pipe in the egg filling. See which way you like the best.
