Bacon and Eggs
Bacon and Eggs – Sausage and Eggs, however you see it!
Ok, ok, so it isn’t really bacon and eggs. But, (my husband says I say BUTTTTT, way too much) it makes a cute breakfast/brunch amuse bouche.
Who doesn’t love bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs? Makes a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are vegan then these little tidbits will satisfy you quickly. Meatless, egg less, but not sugarless!
I first saw this in a magazine at least 15 years ago. I cut the picture out, saved it for years, and have made it several times. This little “thing” (not really sure what to call it) makes a great little conversation piece for a brunch or breakfast.
I did a kids class one year at Williams Sonoma and showed the little ones how to make this along with my pear “rudolph”. They loved the bacon and egg snacks.
It’s simply pretzels, white chocolate and yellow M&M’s.
Lay out the pretzels on waxed or parchment paper about 1/4″ apart.
Melt some white chocolate chips and make your “white”.
Careful not to break the yolk! Top with yellow M&M for the yolk, set aside to firm up.
Bacon and Eggs
Thin stick Pretzels
1 bag white chocolate chips (don’t use bark)
Yellow M&M’s
Slowly melt the white chocolate chips either in the microwave or in a double boiler. Lay out pretzels, two at a time, in pairs on waxed or parchment paper. Have them about 1/4″ apart. Take the melted white chocolate and using a tiny spoon make your egg white. Let cool a minute or so and top with yellow M&M (logo down). Set cookie sheets aside to cool. When cool, put in airtight container until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Love it! You had me fooled at first. They really look like sausage and eggs!
how cute are these!!! they look like real sausage & eggs!
This is super cute. I can see it on a breakfast themed cake!
Very cute!! I am going to have to try these~
A very nice Amuse Bouche.
Cute! For a second I thought it was a real egg on top of those pretzel sticks! I’ll have to make a couple of these for the roommate. I bet she would love!
Thanks for sharing!
I guess they do look more like sausage and eggs than bacon. They were originally called bacon and eggs. But, whatever they are called they are cute and delicious. == Sherry
